who has the oil filter kits for Can Am 1330 engines ??? I read it some where but cannot find it again.. I only want the filters & gaskets.. NO OIL !!

ebay has them $89.99 for the kit with oil filter/s and o rings, washers etc....:thumbup: amazone may also have them but I get my oil change kits from ebay...

If all else fails, I've got the filter and large O-Ring for $14.95 shipped. I also have brake pads for the 2013/14 Spyders as well. I just have not had time to list these items.

The other oil change components are readily reusable. I will have those components soon also, just not yet.

I can supply Amsoil, if interested, and there are other alternatives readily available.

Like the other oil change kits from BRP, it contains everything you need:
7 quarts of genuine BRP semi-synthetic oil
Oil filter
2 metal washers
5 o-rings

All under one part number: 219800315 for the SE6
For the amazing price of $77 plus tax
Sounds like a deal to me!

Get the filter from BahaRon. Can't beat that price...cheaper than a dealer would charge. And he's quick with shipping.

First oil change on the SE6 is at 3000 miles not 600 like on the Rotax 998.

local Can Am dealer service manager told me ---- first oil change on my 2014 RT should be done at 600 miles... manual states 3,000 miles

Every time I hear about dealers doing the 600 mi change on the 2014 RT's, I get annoyed. :banghead:Take the manual in to show them and ask if they are illetirate or simply trying to rip you off.

When I got my 2014, they had taken the owners lmanual and put little post- it stickers on important pages, one of them being the maintenance schedule.

Think about it. Whether they are 'Fibbing' or just Ignorant, it's a win-win either way..... for the dealer!

There have been a few dealers that do not know that point. Here, the manual is correct and the dealer is not. The 1330 is a whole different beast compared to the 998. Your choice when though. Most new 1330's have not used any oil at the 3000 mile point.
