Oil check

How often should the oil be checked? :dontknow:

I would say at least once a week I'm down about a quart every 2000 miles or so.And been doin my changes around 4000 instead of 3000

Mine was using oil, down to bottom tip of dip stick in 1,500 miles. So I had to add twice in 3,000 miles. I switched to Shell-Rotella 5/40 and it quit using oil for the next 3,000 miles. But now with 2,600 miles it's back down to tip of the dip stick again. So it's back to using oil again. So my advice is to check it every 1,500 miles.
