• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nice product folks. Very easy to install. It's so simple and makes you wonder why it isn't there from factory.

:2thumbs: Thanks, Ive been waiting for this as I have a long gravel road to travel every time that I head out. Put in my order for the kit today.:clap:

Better late than never, but never late is better...nice mod!

PICTURES ON RT-S

Well the good news is this, you can't see it after it's installed unless you go to the other side and use a long stick to show it to someone.

I tried and tried to get a good photo of this part installed and just can't get the lighting correct. It hides away and just does it's job as it is supposed to.

I have tested this over 6000 miles without any sign of it coming loose or receiving damage. Polycarbonate is some really tough stuff and I just love to work with it, not cheap however!

Here are pictures of the outside cover off and with it on. Go to www.SPYDERPOPS.com to order.

Absolutely! If the dealer left off that other cover because it was too hard to put back on after installing the hitch then you will want to get it back and it will be easy to re-install after using the new heavy duty u-nuts.

The RT in the picture has a trailer hitch.

Thanks,
Harvey

Roughly, how much clearance is between the guard and the belt? It's difficult to tell from the picture.

I didn't realize this was conceled by the outer cover .... and had second thoughts on it. Now realizing that it does not change the appearance, I really wanna it. Looking at the entire package and save on shipping.

Just enough! The material that we are using is forgiving to vibration and contact. There is less than 3/8" between the tire and belt so there isn't a lot of room for any other type of material. This is why we chose polycarbonate as it won't hurt the tire or the belt if they do make contact.

After 6000 miles of testing there is no wear on any surface keeping in mind the tire moves also due to sidewall flex so there can be a shiny effect on the tire ever so often.

Thanks,
Harvey

Just ordered

Wow, this is an answer...I also live on a graveled road...so have 1/4 mile in and out and every time pray that I wouldn't pick up a rock. Thanks for sharing...I just ordered mine.

You got me excited so I went to order it but STOPPED when I saw $27.00 shipping and handling. Couldn't believe my eyes for such a small light weight piece of plastic !!!!!!!!

He ships priority only and I guess that's the international rate. Why not just order everything and get your bang for the buck on shipping.

Ordered mine last evening as too many gravel roads here in North/Central Alabama! Looks like a great product that should have been incorporated in by BRP! :D
