• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oh it's tire time...

Looked at Bruisersbaby's RT yesterday, she's got to have a new rear tire. 8,800 miles. Guess that's about the life expectency from what I gather. Well, at least it'll be a new one for the run to Lamonts next week. Crap, thought I posted this on general discussion.

I have just over 9k on mine and it still looks like new, as do the Fronts.:dontknow: seems to be a big range on tire wear.

I got about 10k on mine. Just put a Michelin Hydroedge on and so far I love it. I think it is going to go a lot of miles. Looks good too.

I got 14K out of mine, and at 7K on the replacement, it's about half worn. Tire life seems to be quite variable.

I currently have 18K on the original tires,:2thumbs: the rear is in better shape than the fronts but probably won't begin to think of replacements for another 4-5K. I sure does seem to vary a lot!:dontknow:

Me too. The size for the Michelin HydroEdge is 215/60R15. Great traction and has a 90k mileage rating, although I have no idea what to expect on the RT. It is slightly different size than the OEM tire, but works with the nanny & makes both the speedometer and odometer more accurate according to my GPS.

:agree::thumbup:

I am an OEM tire person. Dealer will not install anything else--and I don't need the hassle involved with finding someone who will.

Going back with the OEM for now but plan on looking at something else down the road. I have Michelins on my truck and Firestones on the Impala. Both excellent tires.
