• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well its been to cold for me to ride here since i have yet to find any warm gear that fits so i haven't been able to ride but maybe 15 miles a week or so. Well yesterday we had a heat wave and it was a great 65 degrees so I pulled :spyder:out and washed it up and then went for a nice long ride. I left around 11 and before i knew it i was getting back into town around 4. You never realise how much you miss riding till you actually get to go out on a nice long leasurely ride to no were!!!! Atleast the cold is almost over and I will be able to put a ton more miles on it this year and maybe even meet up with some of you fellow spyderlovers!!!

It was a great day yesterday. They are talking snow here today. Glad you got a ride in. :doorag:

I really don't miss living up north. Spyder is still in the shop but I took off on the V-Strom yesterday morning for a nice ride around lake Okeechobee with a friend. Didn't get as big of a group going as we normally do since it was in the 30's here in Florida yesterday morning. But it warmed up nicely and was a great day for riding. Now it's raining again and supposed to get colder during the week but I'm still riding.

Hope it isn't a rainy bikeweek this year.

As for the cold weather gear, I bought Arctiva snowmobile bibs and an Arctiva jacket, they've been great for the lows we get down here. It's been unseasonably cold and I did get to try them out at 30 degrees. Stayed warm for my 30 mile ride to work. :2thumbs:
