• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OGB'S

I just got OGB's ( Original Grip Buddies) today and went right out and did a test fit. They are very easy to install and seem very comfortable even with my smallish hands. I did not affix them with the adhesive and do a test ride since my dealer is waiting for parts to fix the loose left handle bar switch module. I think that will require replacement of that grip. I will give a final report after that is completed.

I received mine this past weekend. Put them on this morning and WOW, how comfortable and cushy, and they look great!! Rode to work, can't wait to try a longer trip. Product was as promised, shipped within a few days, would recommend to folks. I have some arthritis in my thumb joints and wrists, one of the many reasons purchased my Spyder, and these grips make all the difference.

OGB's Before reading the post I thought that this was going to be a thread about Old Grumpy Bastards, oh well maybe next time.:lecturef_smilie:

I installed my and went on a 233 mile run yesterday and loved the larger, more comfortable grip! Great product!

Put my Original Grip Buddies on my Spyder today. Granted I was out there bare handed just to put the grips on. But, I was a little disconcerted about the seam where the end that wraps around meets the Velcro strip. It's not that smooth a seam. Now, maybe I won't notice this with gloves on. But, I sure noticed it with bare hands. Did as the instructions said and have the seam placed within the groove of my thumb and not under where my fingertips are. Stretched the neoprene as best I could to get the neoprene to butt up against each other and have no gap. Can't imagine that I'm the only one not thrilled with the ridge that the seam forms.

Jury is out on how these will be when riding. No question the grips and nice as squishy now. Don't feel too big for my hands. I hope the OBGs help with right hand fatigue. I'll look to post in this thread when I've ridden with them.

That may be a few days still. Both hubby and I have hurt our backs. We don't want to sit on the Spyder for a few hours and find that neither of us can get off or walk!!!! Pretty pathetic, but there it is!!!

I too didn't care for the seam, so I took them off and reattached so the seam would be hidden underneath. Can't see it from the front or back of the Bike. My finger tips do feel the seam when riding without gloves but not when I wear them. Either way, it is NOT a bother to me. Went over 200 miles yesterday and they worked great.

I got mine on last night and went for a ride today. Love them cant believe how much something so inexpensive and unnoticable does. I can see where people have a snag with the seam but i seem to have gotten mine just right for me.

I have very big hands, which is to say I can wrap all the way around the grip with the OGBs in place so there is nowhere for the seam to be located where I don't feel it. So far I like them fine. A 300 mile day coming up will tell the tale.
