OCTOBER SPYDER RIDE TO BRANSON MO

Seth, my Boy, where are you? Have you made it home yet? Check in with me, otherwise you are grounded...... :D

Seth arrived in Sioux City at 6 pm. We had coffee and he filled me in on all that I missed. :yikes:
Looking at map quest, he traveled 494 miles from Branson to Sioux City. But he wouldn't stay here....He had to keep going on to Fargo, ND which is another 325 miles....then on to Bemidji, MN which is another 135 miles. (Sioux City is just over half way.)
He and I left here at 7:15 pm, and I rode to Jefferson, SD with him.
Keep this guy in your prayers as he travels home, and I just hope he stops for the night soon.

Safe travels buddy and let us all know when you arrive dude... Total Travel Estimate: 3 hours 28 minutes / 226.63 miles,,,,

Quess he's not driving the speed limit,, You go buddy!!! I will post a new threat on my trip tomorrow,, the bottom line is it was WONDERFUL but was missing a few more spYders folks...

Anyone detect a common denominator here? Rest. Everyone needs rest. You can always gauge a weekend by how much rest a person needs to recover. This past weekend with the SpyderLovers in Branson was great. Hats off to Ricky-Len and Vanessa for organizing this trip. The only way it could have been better is if it were still going on.

More later. I'm tired. :doorag:

those are some awsome pics I got home at 0237, if you take off the 1 hour each of hanging with larry and joe I did 1001 MILES in 15 hours and 37 minutes this includes the construction and coming within a 1/4 gallon of running out of gas 20 miles south of dirt town, I had to do a half a parade lap to get the miles in.

Thanks again for all the help with EVERYONE, Len you are a huge part of the midwest spyders and are the reason for me going as far as I did, plus meeting up with everyone it makes it like a giant somewhat dysfunctional family, which I am very used to (even the part were bubblebee yelling at me about my shirt being dirty and threatened to hit me again....). The spyder web of riders on here is vast and I do not know about other parts of the country but the midwest and florida riders will give you the shirt off their back.

I have some go cam video of co 125 and co 14 in AR, was really bummed I did not talk len into makin a run on 125.

I did not think I was going to be in to the Brandson thing but it was worth going to.

Happy birthday len. I am going to crash, drivers class to get that speed in NC switched and a careless driving court case where I have to have one of the cops I work with push me with a blanket over me, " how could I be speeding your honor, I am in a wheelchair..." (in my handicapp voice)

Glad to here you are home safe Setho sure enjoyed this weekend, there may have only been 10 Spyders this weekend however the fun factor ranked right up there with Spyderfest.

A little rested now and back to the daily routine. The weekend was a great time. The cabins were very nice. I must say that, as is the norm, just hanging out and talking was probably among the best time spent this weekend (although it does make the fuel stops last forever, but that's ok). The cabins had screened decks. At the end of the day that's where we spent a lot of time just sitting and talking. Everyone has stories and experiences to share, and they are all new and interesting. The "Branson Belle" showboat dinner cruise was great. Five or six shows in one, and three course dinner to boot. They announced Ricky-Len's birthday and a rousing chorus of "happy birthday". The also recognized and welcomed the Spyder Group, which was a nice touch. We had great tables, close to the front, but not so close as to be picked out of the crowd to participate in the show (whew!) The ride on the ferry was a great time and a nice addition to a great day of riding. The riding was great! Beautiful countryside and great roads with lots of twisties. Seth and Mike had a good time trying to determine just how wrong the speed limit signs going into the curves were. I guess they were off by about 50 mph in some cases (90 something in a 40 mph curve). All in all we had a great time with friends, old and new. It was great seeing our friends again and meeting new ones and just sharing the experience with all who were there. :doorag:

I addded a few pix to the gallery.

You Missouri SyderLovers did it again. What a great group and it looks like you had fun. Everyone is just drawn in to guys and SpyderLovers will travel from all over just to hang with you guys. What a great testimony to who you are and who SpyderLovers are. We are still planning on April right now, nothing but the absolute worst will hold us back.

Thanks for sharing the photos everyone - eases the pain of not being there! But just a suggestion after seeing G-man's picture #16 - Len and Setho should have t-shirts with disclaimers announcing they are not "Spyder victims" for the peace of mind of those considering a purchase!

(P.S. - Congrats SethO on another Iron Butt performance. Glad you made it home safely.)

Quote from Seth "(even the part were bubblebee yelling at me about my shirt being dirty and threatened to hit me again....)."

I was not yelling, but I am going to hit you next time, so look-out :roflblack:

Lee and G-man, great pictures.
Thanks a lot Lee for taking that wonderful nasty face shot of me :lecturef_smilie:

Looking forward to see you in April, Deb :2thumbs:

We missed you Joe, RTGene, Nine Fingers and Spiderwoman (and all the rest of you) :(
