There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought my 2008 RS from Ledgewood Powersports. I would still be using them for service if they weren't 2 1/2 hours from my home. You should call them to see what they have in stock. For service, I use East Coast Cycles in Bensalem, PA; they are a platinum Spyder dealer. You should probably call them as well.
Keep in mind that your warranty is good anywhere in the US. You will have to return to the original dealer for the first/600 mile service but after that you can any dealer you want. You should have no problems buying from one dealer and getting service from another.

I purchased my Spyder from Motorcycle Mall, last purchase from them, I will never go back!!!
I live in Bayville. I bought my GS from Extreme. It's 1 hour away up 571 to Hwy 33. pm me if you want to know about my experience with their service. I still go there because it's the only one relatively close. That's my biggest problem with BRP, not enough dealers. I even tried to get Ocean County Powersports to carry Spyders. I'll check with them again once they open their new store.
