• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The BRP Fog Lights on my 2014 ST Limited make much more of a difference than I even hoped for. I am so glad that I finally convinced myself to spring for them. Sit on a Spyder on a dark road with high or low beams on, it makes no difference. Now turn on the Fog Lights. You will never own a Spyder without them again.

I know that BRP wants to make the stock bikes as "cheap" as possible, but IMO the fog lights shouldn't be an option, they should come standard on every Spyder. They do make all the difference in the world, for the rider AND for other vehicles on the road.

Dave I agree with you. I just had never seen them in action until tonight and did not realize how much extra light they added.

A lot of their effectiveness (And the headlights ), is tied to the settings of the rear suspension...
Due to the lousy roads up here; I have always run a stiff rear shock. The headlights can be adjusted back to a useful location, but the foglights are now more for making myself more visible on the road...

Always..!!

good to have the added lighting when ryding back roads like we do. Headlights are set at a distance where things can get between you and the light. I have always added driving and fogs aiming them sightly off to left and right to give me up close shoulder view. This fills in the gap...

You can never have to many lights. The fog lights help to "lighten" up the front profile of the :spyder2: for those drives.
