There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Pattie, the OBI stands for the OAK BEACH INN, IT USED TO BE A BAR AND RESTAURANT ON LONG ISLAND. when it closed, all that was left was a long white wall. so we started calling it the wall, now people just call it the OBI and on the weekends, cars and bikes get together there to hang out and talk. https://www.longislandexchange.com/towns/oak-beach/ the last picture is what is now the parking lot that we all meet in

i get there usually 7-7:30 am and leave by 10am, nice 30 min. drive out and open it up a little on ocean pkwy. it's fun, free
and you meet a lot of car and bike enthusiast's.
