• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

o2 sensor came out

SORRY

OK we got the panels off and disconnected the o2 sensor...thread are shiny and smooth on one side the other threads look OK....stick finger down in hole of pipe...one side smooth and other feel threads....actually got the sensor in the pipe tighten and it pulls right out....Mark is on his way here to rescue me with truck and trailer....what will mess up next?

sorry your ride got interrupted, well i guess it could of been worse,

Also, depending on your creativity and need to make it work you could also wire the sensor secure to the pipe to hold it in place. This would at least get you home.

Sorry your ride got interrupted. I think PeggyO had some issues too.

Sounds like a second ride is in order later! :doorag:

You really have to wonder how this happened, unless it was cross threaded when first installed! I hope this isn't the leading edge of another 2013 issue!

We would have heard about it by now, if this was endemic to the model year...
Since it was stripped, and you guys never had it out before; I'd guess that this was a "Ham-Fister", at the factory... :gaah:
Warranty time again!

She recently had it in the shop too so the tech may have removed it and screwed up putting it back in. I'd bet on that more than the factory. I think a liberal application of SEMTEX would take care of all the issues on that Spyder.

 I never thought about that; good poit!
I do know that it worked okay on the bottom half of a crankcase... nojoke
