• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. NY Motorcycle show

Interesting....🤔

Seems they have chosen not to participate in the motorcycle shows....was told some time ago that they would not be in Long Beach and guess it is at all the shows. I think they prefer to do the Demo Day at dealers all over the country....:dontknow:

they invested in rider training vs the shows this year

I think some other manufacturers will do this as well. The last show I attended in Cleveland had quite a few bikes, but they were being displayed by various dealerships from northern Ohio and not the manufacturers. Also it seemed like half the vendors there had nothing to do with motorcycling whatsoever. I can spend an afternoon in the Iron Pony Motosports store and see more bikes and accessories than I can at the show in Cleveland. Admission is free and I can actually test ride the bikes weather permitting.

I think the shows are more for accessory vendors and such more then just the bikes. i wonder how much true sales on bikes come from the shows.
Most people will look but the real sales occur at the dealer when people start haggling on price and financing.

I quit going to so called Motorcycle shows years ago. I prefer places like Wheels thru Time at Maggie Valley and Barber Motorsports. :D

We went to the show in Long Beach in Nov and it was disappointing, not nearly the usual amount of vendors or manufacturers. However there seemed to be a lot more people attending than in prior years. I think BRP blew a good opportunity to showcase the Ryker in CA by not attending.
