There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. NY Hunter Mtn

Great, hope you can make it. Hunter Mountain has overnight rooms but they are somewhat pricey. You may want to check this website for a local Bed & Breakfast : http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/hunter-new-york.html

If anyone else wants to meet up on that morning in Downsville along route 30 to Margaretville please let me know. From there we are open on a route up to route 23 in Hunter.
Thank,s for the infoOn the GPS says about 4.5 hours. If the weather is good we,ll go down Sat return on Monday

Great to hear of more interest in the Oct 3 weekend. It looks like at this point that some can make it on Saturday and some of you cannot.
Best solution is we have two rides, one each day to Hunter Mountain (weather permitting) so I can meet up with all of you who are coming to this event. Val and I have been going there for the past few years and the sky ride to the top is not to be missed.
It especially aid digestion !!

So it is best to list your availability date/dates to firm up a meet up location and time. Sounds like somewhere along Route 28 west of Kingston may be best to accomidate those of you coming off the NYS Thruway.

Anyway, thanks again, looking forward to a fun time.

This is in my backyard, so if the weather is good, I'll be there and most likely bring a bunch of mixed bikes on the 3rd.

 I do NOT want to be the one raining on the Parade...

...But has anyone else looked at the long-range forecasts yet? :gaah:
Let's all hope that they're even more wrong than usual!

Ron are you turning up on 213 or taking 209 all the way to 28. I will be coming from Mohonk rd or 213 High Falls. I will meet you and Chuck at Emmanuels Market.

Anyone else who want to take the ride I will be leaving from Lagrange NY heading west over the Mid Hudson Bridge in Poughkeepsie and driving thru New Paltz

Hope Bob didn't put the whammy on us with the early weather forecast.

Bob's a funny guy, I see :D

Being out on Coastal NY Waters for the past 40 years, I have much experience with NOAA weather forecasts. The only one I have come to trust is the "Wake up and look outside" one. ;)

Anyway, thanks for your concern, buddy ! I am sure that we can do this on the 3rd for you as well. Looking forward to meet.

Thanks Met, glad you can join and are nearby. I am thinking to meet up in Shandanken at route 28 & 42. Both are nice roads. http://www.mapquest.com/us/ny/shandaken

Time around 11 AM to allow for those coming from afar. Can you recommend a lot in Shandanken which will work for us ??
214 through the notch is another option and better for those coming from the east.

Emmanuels would work for us. this is only three miles from home, but most likely camping at Rondout Valley Resorts, that's say 6 miles away. From there I would go up 213 and over the reservoir to 28, then up to Phoenicia.

I know route 214 and I thought it would be a little slow and twisty but I am fine with that also. Can you suggest a meet point off route 28 nearby route 214 ??

If so, lets do it.

There's a Valero gas station on main st in Phoenicia and right across from that is the sportsman bar & grill. Be right there somewere. A block after the 214 turn. You set the time.

FieldTester was thinking about meeting at 11am in Phoenicia, of course this all is weather dependent.

Sounds good Met, My group of 4 Spyders (Ed, Cathy and Val) will be at the Valero Station in Phoenicia at 11 AM on Oct 4th.
Val and I only on 2 Spyders will also be there on the 3rd so far weather permitting.
Hope to meet all of you for a great weekend. :)

BUMP: Field Tester is currently offline...
Keep your posts coming about who's going, and when.
I'll relay the messages to him!
He believes that his system should be back up and operational on Wednesday!

Got back form Nova Scotia yesterday. We have an Honor Flight on Oct. 3rd. to attend, at Hancock Airport in Syracuse, NY. Have to be there at 4:30am. then again at 5:00pm. Won't be able to make it, again. All that do make it have a safe trip & lots of fun.
