I remember this 'story' from the early 1970s. A friend of mine and I had a lot of fun 'discussing' this venture. He was sure it was the 'future' (not really, just for ribbing each other).

Didn't watch the video.. the the Elio is a scam... they've been saying 'two years' for 10 years now. I feel sorry for anyone who put a down payment.

Recently saw a special on a car collector that had one of the Dale's (did not run and never did). They even gave one away on the Price is Righ or other game show. Must of given the winner cash. But if memory serves me, the scam only lasted 9 months. Now the elio has that beat by miles...:yikes:
