• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just picked up my new :spyder2: today. Wow, that first ride after years on 2 wheels was quite the experience. I guess I'm a full member now and look forward to picking your brains with all kinds of newbie questions! So, thanks in advance.

Congrats on your new toy.
I come from two-wheel world too so it is a learning curve for me for the last few weeks.
Cheers.

:congrats: On the New Spyder F3L!! Nice looking machine. Welcome to the Forum. Make sure and post a photo of your new ride in the Spyder Garage area of the forum. :2thumbs:

Welcome and congrats on your new ride! If you have not done so do yourself a big two step favor: Step 1, read the Do's and Do Nots sticky at the head of the Spyder General Discussion Forum, and Step 2, read your operator's guide thoroughly, at least twice. Ride safe!

WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME :ohyea: I got my first Spyder in Jan., coming from just 4 wheelers, so I don’t know if I’m still a newbie or a rookie now... with all this shut in, the one thing I could do is suit up, jump on the spyder & hit the road, the wind, the views, the curves :riding:... The info I’ve gotten from this site has been invaluable!!! So if nobody has mentioned if, do a search for “do’s and don’ts”, I got so much from it. Welcome & In Joy

That reaction is pretty common among 2 wheeled riders crossing over to Spyders/Rykers. I didn't have any 2 wheel riding experience when I brought my Ryker, so the learning curve for me was not as drastic. But I still catch myself, when going into a turn thinking "left curve lean left, right curve, lean right".... :)

But the more I ride the more confidence I get.
