• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Tropical storm coming right across the state out of the Gulf. Got rain, rain, and some more rain. It held off until the Veterans Day Service was over, then it came pouring down again.

Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful..... Blue skies. No wind. Temperature started at 58 this morning and went to 71 today for a ride of a little over 150 miles. We're supposed to get back to high 80s by mid-next week. I had the rear suspension and driveline upgraded on the trike last week. It now handles like a finely tuned sports car. I am happy. Life in the desert is good..... Jim

Cold Cold and Cold

:coffee: Got up this morning and the temperature was 30°F. A very heavy frost was on the truck. She warmed quite well and off to do some things.

High will be only 53°F and sunny, low around 36°F.

Enjoy your Time. ........

Friday

:coffee:Today sunny and clear skies. Morning temperature was 36°F.

High of 46°F with lots of Sunshine, low of 23°F.

Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Ryde Time. ......

Valley Springs AR: 35 to start out. We went for a ride at 1:00 PM. 50 degrees, blue but hazy skies.

The leaves are now 95% down. We can view the valleys on the other side of the tree line and see far into the woods. A few conifers to give a little green to the whole landscape.

A new look now until it starts greening up in March. We do love this place. :riding::riding:

Wet Weekend

:coffee: Rain is in the forecast for the next couple of days. We need the rain. Might be able to finish up some indoor projects. I don't ryde in the rain anymore if possible.

Today high of 48°F with some clouds, low of 42°F.
Sunday's high 51°F and cloudy, low 34°F.

Enjoy your Weekend. ........

Next 10 days highs are 74, 81, 88, 88, 88, 86, 79, 80, 75, 72 all with sun and no rain. Sounds like riding weather here in Apache Junction, AZ

BattleBorn Spyders to ryde out to Pyramid Lake today. Supposed to make 50* F in the afternoon. Northern Nevada has already had SNOW, so this may be the last group ryde. BUT--- My skis are tuned and waxed and the season pass is ready.

Monday Morning

:coffee:Well, my local area received about a half inch of rain over the weekend. Finished up several of the wife's projects and one of mine. The leaves are all down and Sunday's high winds found them a home.

Today's high will be 50°F with sunshine, low 32°F.

Enjoy your Day. .........

Valley Springs AR: Happy Monday! We are in for another week of "good stuff." Blue skies and afternoon temps in the 60's to 70's. Cooler nights though. 30's to 40's.

We are going to ride a lot again this week. We are avoiding crowds, and restaurants because of the Covid though. Even wearing rubber gloves to decant the gas into the bikes. Be very careful out there.

:riding::riding:

Mid to upper 80s here in the desert. Very light breezes and nothing but blue sky. I went on a lunch ride with a few friends yesterday. We did about 220 miles and had another great meal. Riding and going grocery shopping are about the only activities that gets me out of the house. Grateful to be able to ride..... Jim

Windy Days

:coffee:The last couple of days have been very windy. A lot of tree limbs have been coming down. I guess a few limbs are better than a tree.

34°F this morning, high today 41°F and sunshine, low 25°F. ........

Rode 80 miles yesterday, but it was windy also. We had a group of t-storm cells go through that were trying to spawn tornadoes on Saturday night. They were all around us. The closest passed 20 miles to our North. The warnings were in effect until 12:00 AM so I stayed up until then. The last weather radio warning came at 11:30 PM.

We had a couple trees come down on the property next door to us, and I encountered downed tree branches all over my ride area yesterday.

The t-storms and tornadoes are the only scary thing about where we live. The neighbors said 20 years since one was directly on our hill, but one came within five miles earlier this summer.

Well guys, you have reminded me why I live here and endure a few months of HOT. Yesterday it got to 92. Our community pool is 1/4 mile from me and I use my golf cart to get there. Spent a couple hours bobbing and telling lies with friends yesterday. It actually felt cold when getting out of the pool. I'm used to just getting in the cart and drip drying on the way home (110-115 degrees) Too cold for that now. Today has a low of 64 and high forecast of 88. Wind less than 5 MPH and no clouds. Looks like a day for a couple hour ride and a couple hour pool time...... Jim

Weather..... pppppppppppppppffffftttt! Don't care about the weather no more. My new shop is all closed in now. I can work any time.

Wednesday

:coffee: Well I went to the store yesterday to check out the turkey for Thanksgiving. No worries, there was a good selection of fresh and frozen. We usually get the frozen one.

Chilly start this morning 30°F. Sunny today and high of 48°F. Low 34°F.

Enjoy your Day. .......

RE: Turkey. We snarffed up a 12# one a couple weeks ago. No family gathering this year because of the Covid. That one will get us by.

Still in the high 60s and 70s here and Lincoln Nebraska. 10 day forecast looks great for riding so I keep delaying my winter storage plans. Very unusual winter.

Thursday

:coffee: Today is a warm up. Going to be about 63°F with some clouds. Seems like this year the monthly weather is up and down a lot. Lot of good rydes still available.

Enjoy your Ryde Time and Stay Safe. .......
