NOT YOUR DAD's ROOT BEER

I was given a bottle to try and really liked it ( for 18 yrs and older ) ... it has the same punch as real beer , but tastes like Root Beer :clap:...... When I looked to buy some I discovered they weren't exactly giving it away , so I tried to sort of Brew my own ....... Well don't start with real beer and try to make it taste like Root beer by using R B concentrate :lecturef_smilie: :gaah:.....Yuuck ....... But this works ( at least for me ) .... use your favorite brand of root beer and add Dark Rum .... for me 3 oz. in 12 oz of R B works........ I'm waiting for the ribs to get done :clap:..... I tried all there flavores, and the Root Beer is hands down the best (IMHO). I think it's 5.9% so it does have small a small kick to it.
I will have to try the Rum and RB and see how I like that!

You have to watch it on special occasions they put some 8.4% and nearly 20% Talk about a kick!!!

I think I put triple sec in root beer and got a similar taste for less money. As you said they don't give it away.

Brewed up a bit north of me. Funny thing was until recently they didn't sell it here. had to ride to Indiana to get it, or Wisconsin.

I believe it does taste best of all the root beer beers and I have tried a lot of them.
