• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not to rub it in but...

It will be almost 80 today in North Alabama and I only have to work for 2.5 more hours! Dropped off the Jeep and jumped on Ursamajor's Spyder to ride today.

:D I guess it's not bragging, if you can back it up... :congrats:
I'll get to run some errands on my Spyder today also... but we'll be 20 degrees cooler than you!

:lecturef_smilie: So NOT fair - but do think of us little people as you're ryding along......

How nice...

Enjoy the rather hot weather...you could share 20° with the colder folks....:roflblack:

Well...I guess I have been rubbed. But when I get started, I will be enjoying those mail box runs every day that turn into great 100 mile rides. And, I have killer scenery to go with it. Retirement can be pretty good.

The signature pictures below are from daily rides.:yes:

Mid 70's here in Northern New Jersey. Threw a couple of pounds in the tires, topped off the coolant, and she fired up on the first try. Couldn't go out until after my last meeting of the day but I put about 100 miles on it today. Broke 17K total. There were a ton of bikes out and about today plus I ran into (not literally) a blue RS in Sussex county.

Did you take a ride up to Chuck's, to see what he was up to? :dontknow:

Crazy Winter Weather

In north central KY, it was almost 80 today. A cold front in blowing in an the weather people are saying 35mph wind gusts. It was my first time riding in that kind of wind. The temp was great. The wind was a "characterbuilder" for sure.

Funny you mention that Bob. Early in the week the forecast for today looked really good so I was going to burn one of my floating holidays, take the day off, and come up to see you! nojoke

Then the forecast changed to rain today so I said the heck with it and scheduled two afternoon meetings (I usually work from home on Fridays.)

Then the forecast changed again but I couldn't cancel my meetings :gaah:

I ran up Route 23 to High Point and back. Started getting chilly when the sun went down.

Did you eat in Elias Cole's? :2thumbs:
We watched the Sun and Clouds play some serious "Tag" today...
I felt comfortable staying local, but wouldn't have ventured far out of Town, even if the opportunity had presented itself! nojoke

Nope. Didn't get out until 3:30. But I did ride by it.

The wife was miffed that she couldn't ride Gipsy Danger this weekend. We have a standing agreement that she is more than welcome to ride to church every Sunday and I'll take the baby in the Forester. Tehachapi randomly got an inch of snow on Saturday night, though :banghead:

I told her that I would be more than happy to ride Gipsy to work for her just to rack up some more miles, to which she responded, "Hey! You have your OWN Spyder!" :roflblack:
