• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Not a Big Problem - Just looking to see if it has happened to others

Both of the screws on the bottom of the console front plate worked themselves out and went by by. Replaced one and then a couple of weeks later the other one worked its way out.

Of course finding a replacement in a hardware store is never a perfect match. I believe the original are M5 X14 and all the stores I was in only had M5X16 so purchased 2 washers to take up a bit of the length for each.

I simply can't figure out how these work themselves out.

So has this happened to others ???

Own a 2015 RT-S

Use thread locker nest time. A small dab of blue loctite will work.

Screws used to fasten plastic panels cannot be very tight or it will damage the panel. So you have to use some sort of thread locker. The OE screws had some.

The ones that went bye bye were the OE ones, so if BRP used locktite it must of been less than a pin head.

I had one fall out also. Took the parts kid at the dealer 45 minutes to find one. Replaced under warranty.

You can just go to cheapcycleparts.com and get replacement screws. I ordered some yesterday for my body panels along with a few other things. Gas cap and the bracket that holds the right mirror. I can not get the mirror to not bounce around and found that the bracket needs to be replaced. Apparently the last time I removed it, my kung fu move required to remove it must have been too good.

Funny you should mention that... I also have a 2015 RT, and after returning from the dealer for a few things, I noticed the left screw on the front console was missing. I thought maybe they did something up there and forgot to put it back. Now Im pretty sure it went bye-bye

Yup, Time to break out the locktite.

I also had one come out, but luckly it came out when I stopped and I saw it fall to the ground. Actually it happened during Spyderfest 2016 after stopping in parking lot at vender village. I guess I was lucky.

Loose bolt

I also had one back out on my 2015 RT. I went to Tractor Supply and bought 4 hex head replacements. I have purchased OEM Torx bolts from my local Can Am dealer but have not yet swapped them out.

Console Bolt Missing

I'm also missing one console bolt. My local dealer is struggling to find the part number. Would you look on your receipt and tell me the part number?

Thanks
