• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

North to Alaska

Wow! What a ride! Being an IT slave... err ... Pro... :roflblack: There is no way I could take that much time off! Maybe one day. It was great that folks hooked up and rode for a stint together. That is what the experience is about man. Good job everyone! :2thumbs:

Hello BMW--hope you made it home safely from your trip. Just wanted to update you and let you know that your trip took place during record breaking weather and conditions here in Alaska. The newspaper today said that this has been the coldest, wettest, summer on record for Alaska. As of today, we will have 27 consecutive days when it has rained, breaking the previous record of 26 consecutive days. We have not had an official blue sky, no clouds day, since April. You did very well on braving the elements, and still keeping a good attitude about the weather and problems that cropped up with the Spyder. It was great meeting you and we enjoyed accompanying you on a couple of rides. If you decide to return to Alaska, the odds are that the weather will be better next time.
