• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

North Georgia BBQ lunch

We had eleven Spyder folks at lunch today in the Georgia foothills just outside of Clarksville, Ga.

South Carolina and Georgia represented.

A bit cooler up this way but the A/C was still welcome. Food was good and the company was better.

THANK YOU

:agree: :2excited: :congrats:
A BIG
'THANK YOU' GOES OUT TO THE  WISE AND  FABULOUS JOHN MATTOX of Murphy, NC fame, for arranging yet another one of his great SPYD3R gatherings....  :2thumbs: :chat: :bbq::cheers: :firstplace:

I always want to go to stuff like this, but then, I wonder how out of place I will be, considering I'm drastically younger than almost all the spyder riders I see pics of on this forum

Erik:

Are you suggesting we all look old?? I don't think age has much to do with Spyder enthusiasm.

Check the guy third from the left in the photo I posted. I'm guessing he is late 20's or early 30's. He rides a cool looking bumble bee colored RS. Forgot his name though. (could be old age).

I'm 35. And NOOOOOO I'm definitely not saying anyone looks old. But just by people's profile pictures and most of the pictures that are posted here, it seems like the cruising/touring demographic is older than I am. Of course, theres absolutely nothing wrong with age, hell, y'all know way more about life than me thats for sure.

I guess I just wondered what I might have in common and be able to talk about. See, I'm not the most socially outgoing person, I am a computer programmer, I work from home, and have limited interactions with real people face to face. LOL.

But this is the year I actuallly use the bike (only put 1000 miles in the first year when I lived in south florida, I use it non-stop now up here in georgia), so I hope to be able to meet up and hang out with fellow spyder enthusiasts!!!
