• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2015 RT-S. On the drivers right side foot rest there is a little lever on the underside that when pushed, it lets the foot rest hinge downt. Not straight down as in an adjustment but it hinges at the bike. The left side has nothing like it and I am very puzzled what the purpose is.......:banghead:

if you step on the brake hard, the foot rest will drop down. this is done for extra pressure on the brake pedal in the event you really need to slam on it. it is normal. once it drops, just lift it up

That lever is part of an emergency braking system wherein if you had to stomp the brake pedal so hard the complete throw would be blocked by a rigid footrest the footrest gives way to you can get maximum braking effort from full pedal throw. See pg 136 of your owner's manual.

All of the above

:agree: and that is why you don't have it on the left side...hopefully you will never need that feature...
