• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

noob questions

I don't mind riding in the cold. Haven't had the RT out in the snow yet, probably couldn't get up my drive with it, too steep. I will say that the RT has the best weather protection of any bike/trike I've ridden. Upper 30's ride last Saturday. Tourmaster coat, ski bibs, unlined deerskin gloves, heated grips on low, and regular cotton socks. Use a neck warmer to seal between helmet and jacket. Rode about 120 miles and very comfortable. I've always ridden in the cold, but with the RT it's much safer. We use a lot of sand during the winter and now I don't have pay nearly as much attention to road conditions. I expect to be out more in the cold with the RT. I just like to ride!

The RT is just as bad, or worse, in the snow as the RS. When I took mine back to the dealer, I couldn't get it to go onto the trailer ramp. It just kept spinning on the packed snow until I got out a couple of old towels to use as traction mats. The weather protection is excellent, however, it's just not a snowmobile.
