• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

non-rinse waterless washing solutions

I have searched and have not yet found a solution that fits both requirements.

I am needing to find a good way to clean my spyder even if it has bug and dirt on it (not caked on or mud) with out being able to rinse it off as I don't have access to a water hose. Any recommendations on non-rinse waterless washing solutions?

HOnda High Performance Cleaner and Polish.. most reasonably priced and works on all surfaces, metal, piexglas, plastic, etc......

I use Windex Multi-Purpose Cleaner with Vinegar. Don't use regular Windex with Ammonia! If things are real dirty, I often take a bucket of water and numerous rags and towels out there. Using a California Car Duster before you spray anything on it is a great help, too...and is all you need if it is just dusty or covered with pollen.

We have used this for the past 2-3 years our motor coach, cars, and our :f_spider:. It works very well - easy to use, quick, and makes bugs easy to remove. I do our 40 ft. Coach in about an hour with about 3 oz of the spray, so it's pretty cost and time effective. The :f_spider: takes about 10-15 min, depending on how dirty he is. I keep a small spray bottle & a couple of microfiber towels in the frunk, and do a quick once over b/4 putting on the travel cover when on the road. It's the only thing that the :f_spider: has had used on him...no soap & water so far...And out west where there are perpetual water use restrictions, it's great!!

I use Griott's Spray on Car Wash. It cleans and shines without scratching or swirl marks. I use it on my Corvette also.

cleaning

I use a deionized water system that I found to rinse, first I wash with a commercial car wash solution and a soft non scratching sponge then rinse with the water. Because it is deionized it does not require drying and leaves no spots. I use a pressure washer and stand off this actually uses less water and minimizes the risk of water damage. You can use a air hose or a small leave blower if you want to blow around the seams to speed up the drying, my friend does this when he details cars. The deionize system requires little maintenance and has the additional use of washing all the windows on the outside of the house which makes me a wife hero and frees up riding time.:doorag::yes:
