• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

just noticed this morning when the bike is sitting in neutral sounds like the clutch is making a racket. pull the clutch lever and it goes away. is this normal?

Disagree.

Normal. Mine has been like that from day one

Asked dealer about it a 600 mile check up said is normal

Have a 13 rs. 11000 miles ago still does it no issues.

Ride more worry less:thumbup:

thanks folks. been riding Harleys, and not dealing with vibration and noise from the pipes its different when you can actually hear the engine noises.

Yep, but it's the transmission not the clutch. Classic "gear rattle" -- when the clutch is engaged in neutral, some of the shafts and gears are turning in the transmission; when the clutch lever is pulled (disengaged), nothing is turning. All manual transmissions (automotive and motorcycle) will do this.

Makes sense to me! tks

Well..!!

To a point. Mine with 31,000 mile has always had a different sound when clutch is engaged. Should not be drastic and may change with oil levels /and or temps and oil types and changes. Always use the best oils you can get....
