• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No Tool Kit? Helmet Holder/Lock?

That's why you saved $400

So the other dealer had a slight different/better model with tool kit?

I picked up my new F3-S today and I had to go back in and ask the dealer where my tool kit and manual that is supposed to be with the bike was. They gave me the missing items before I left.

So they gave you a spanner tool?

Spanner - defined as a wrench, yeah, they gave me a spanner....... one spanner. There is 10mm/12mm wrench in the tool kit. My 1962 Honda Super 90 had a better tool kit. There is a pretty nice digital tire gauge in the tool kit, with an extra battery even!

For adjusting shocks, this is probably what you mean.

Shock adjusting tool, or shock spanner. Spanner is just a generic term for wrench.

I am pretty sure the tool kit is the two ended screwdriver. I got one. Maybe your dealer is adding some gimmee products, like a tee shirt

Just curious, where does the manual say the tool kit is stored? On our RT's it was attached to the bottom of the seat, but very small and in a black pouch on a black seat bottom...

The manual does not mention a toolkit because the ryker does not come with one.

I recall my first BMW, a R100GSPD. It came with a tool kit AND a bag containing a battery charger, a quart of oil and a bottle of windscreen cleaner! Each BMW after that came with progressively smaller tool kits and I don't think the LT's even had a screwdriver! I always put together my own tool kit for each bike, the contents varying depending on what is needed for that particular machine. I started to put one together for the Ryker but will have to wait until it comes home to see just what will be required (in addition to the screwdriver and the 65mm socket with 1/2-3/4 adapter.)
