I am going to keep my current job until I find a job that I like, at least I still have a paycheck coming in.After retirement, I supplemented my income by doing two 12 hour shifts on the weekends. It took me a full 2 days to get back to a normal routine so effectively I was spent for 4 days. Then I had 3 good days and it started all over again. My job was not mentally or physically taxing. But the irregular routine was upsetting. I was in my mid 60s and way too old to be happy. I lasted a year but will not try that again..... It's to your favor to look for a job when you don't "need" one. Just like a boyfriend (girlfriend)..... don't get rid of the old one until you have a new and better one...... best of luck to you.....
