• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No more knee and thigh cramps!

From the time I purchased my 2013 Spyder RT I have been experiencing knee and thigh cramps on rides. Overall riding has been uncomfortable. I am 6' 2' and 290 pounds. The seat and peg position is not very friendly to tall heavy rider. I have found the solution to my dilemma. I installed the seal floorboards and the comfort seat. WHAT a difference! Now I love riding my Spyder as much as I enjoyed my HD Ultra.

I hear ya! I'm 6'4" and 290 lbs. as well and another issue I had is the windshield height. I can still look over it with it all the way up, problem is with it that high it rattles really bad.

D,
How's the 2014 OEM seat working for you??

It is on the "mushy" side for my liking. Today I tried the sheepskin/gel pad for the first hundred miles, and the Airhawk for the return hundred miles. I am sitting about an inch higher and the mushy feel is less noticeable. One was not much better than the other. Going to give the assist pads another try to make sure. If I can do 200 + miles without major pain in the hips and the bum falling off, I consider that a victory. Will probably be installing the Utopia soon, and put the Corbin and backrest up for sale again. Six hundred miles and counting since Wednesday PM. Maybe another 150 or so tomorrow. Experiencing wonderful weather. Sunny and 75 degrees.:yes::yes: I am loving the new 2014.

Bob, the seat is working very well. I wanted to put the backrest but I'm not sure if it will make my wife less comfortable. Since the comfort seat already took 2 inches from her portion of the seat.
