• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just got my bike out of the shop today and rode 50 miles, BRP got it right, everything seems to be doing great I can even use my glove box.

Glad to hear your report and very happy for all those effected by "former" heat issue. Enjoy your riding season, which I assume in Texas never ends, lol!

Glad that it's working for you. The more positive reports I read like your's, the more I can't wait to get mine done. It goes into the shop on July 13th. (I'm out of town 'till then.)

Had mine done on Friday and was amazed at how cool the glove box and front of seat area are now. Plus the right foot heat, which is now not only less but divided between both right and left side vents.

My wife has an '014 RT and these areas on mine are even cooler than on hers now. Wonder if they'r (BRP) going to make the scoops available for all models? If so getting some for her bike too.

Only spot I'm still feeling any warmth while riding is further back in the seat under my butt, but no where near as badly as before.

Question for those who've had the fix done and also had the Cat delete? Did the combination (or just the cat delete itself), get rid of the heat/warmth beneath the seat as well?

Thanks

Is that with the original Cat or the Y Pipe? would be good knowing if there is little difference with the Y Pipe installation.

I got mine back Saturday. 75 mile ride home with no issues. Scoops look nice and spyder ran smoother and sound was deeper.

I got the recall on my 2013 RTL done about a week ago and I have about 200 miles on it since then. No gas smell or vapor lock when filling up and there is also a major decrease in the heat. As stated by other people on this thread I can actually can touch the little glove box without burning myself. I did notice that the temp gauge stays right in the middle just like before the recall. It has not been really hot so it is just a matter of time for the real test.. The color of my :spyder2:is Black Currant so the scoops are a good match and look like they were suppose to be there.

I just purchased a 2013 RT-S Se5 and have put about 200 miles on it. So far I am liking it very much but the ride is taking some getting used to, Former Vulcan 1500 owner so the ride is different. The new scoops look great and I think add to the overall look of the front view.

Looking forward to the recall mod being done in a couple of days

Your posts have made me excited to see the difference. My service will be done this week. I'm still getting cooked, but it hasn't stopped me from riding.
