• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So the missus was out shopping and slipped on a piece of shrink wrap. She has a shattered kneecap and will have surgery Monday. It will probably be at least 5 weeks before she'll be able to ride again. We got the spyder for something to do together and have put about 20000 miles on it in 4 years. We plan on piling on alot more miles after we retire. Riding solo is great but not the same without the running commentary.

My sympathies go out to you Rhonda. That hurts just to hear about. I hope yoo heal quiickly and completly. Prayers for your recovery.

 So sorry to hear about your wife!!!! I just had my knee replaced so I can feel your pain and her's!!! It was a sad thing to put the battery tender back on my bike after 4000 mile so far!!!!:banghead: But better days are coming and may your wife have a speedy recovery!!!!! Good Luck

Good Lord, that's terrible! Hopefully the surgery goes well and her recovery will be uneventful. Over the years I've had the misfortune to fracture both kneecaps and I can attest it's no fun at all. Thankfully, healing went well. Now the assorted aches and pains are simply part of being a member in good standing of the "Elder Statesman" league.
