That gadget on the right looks like a gold dredge?? I took a picture of one northeast of Fairbanks, Alaska that had been abandoned for decades, but it was way before I had a Spyder.

All that I can add to your post is that I am a bit envious. I would love to be able to put that kind of mileage on my bike. We are only able to average about 1000 miles per month. Working and living in Pa seems to get in the way........

03hdjill dont be envious, I'm in a rather unique situation and thankful to just be alive, I was a hit & run victim in '12 suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) the DR's dont know how or why I'm as good as I am, i just thank The Lord! I lost he use of my limbs few times and LOTS of therapy later I'm getting around as much as I can. kinda explains it all.
