• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

No eye bleach needed for these!!!!

You will not feel any need to unsee these scenes!! I hope the colors you see on your computer do justice to these!!

Here are a couple of pics of fall colors in the Colorado Rockies! This one is on Kenosha Pass north of Fairplay, CO on US 285 on my ride from Denver to Salida yesterday.

Aspens at Kenosha Pass.jpg

The only way I can describe the scenery today riding from Salida to Delta, CO on SR 92 in the Black Canyon of the Gunnison River is mile after mile after mile of unbelievable, spectacular, and overwhelming display of fall colors. I actually began to feel a sense of visual sensory overload! Now I have a good idea of what John Denver meant with his song "Rocky Mountain High"!!!!

Now it's on to Cortez, CO, then Torrey, UT, and finally on Monday Saint George, UT for Spyders in the Red Rocks!!!

Beautiful, nothing like the Aspens changing colors. The only thing you missed were the Elk bugling during their Sept mating season just West of Estes Park and into the Rocky Mt. National park. There are literally thousands of Elk there in Sept. mating in the same meadow. All the old bulls protecting there small groups and the younger ones trying to "penetrate" the heard and fight the older bulls into submission. Anyone who has seen this can verifie it is a sight to behold. My parents had a summer cabin there and I worked there 5 summers. Maybe next time!

Thanks....

Great pictures and the volors are magnificent... spent a summer up there way, way back when...:2thumbs:

Autumn my favorite time of year. This year the colors were washed out and not brilliant. The 100 mph wind gusts we had last night took care of most of the leaves. They are pretty much gone now.

Beautiful!!!

Thanks for sharing...I got back from Denver area a couple of weeks ago, having spent a month there...just missed the change.
Have a great trip,
jb

So nice! You are a blessed man! I'm thinking I'm not supposed to "envy" you :-) Fall colors are still several weeks off to our mountains here in upstate SC and the Smokies. I love the ride on the Blueridge Parkway (coming soon). God is an amazing artist! Enjoy.

We rode up to Silverton, Co on Monday. Spectacular color in the Colorado rockies right now. Spending a few days in Durango meeting up with the other half of the Texas contingent and head out to St. George on monday via Monument Valley and Glen Canyon.

Another one!

Here's another pic. This has the fall colors contrasted behind by the snow that fell around Telluride last night. This is along Hwy 62 between Ridgway and the turn off to Telluride.
