A suggestion for those of you that get down towards Fredericksburg and the Kerrville area, stop off at the Nimitz
Museum in Fredericksburg. It well worth the time to visit. Generally takes about 4 hours or so to wonder through
and see everything. There is a PT Boat, a Dive bomber and a pot load of everything else that you can image from
world war II. Even a Japanese miniature sub from the attack on Pearl Harbor. A ticket is good for a couple of days.
Also, if you get on down towards Medina, there is the Twisted Sisters run that can stir your adrenalin. Be aware that
the curves are sharp and when I was there in September 13 riders had missed a curve and are no longer with us. Oh,
almost forgot, the road from Kerrville to Medina gets pretty wicked also.
Enjoy!!!
