• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A suggestion for those of you that get down towards Fredericksburg and the Kerrville area, stop off at the Nimitz
Museum in Fredericksburg. It well worth the time to visit. Generally takes about 4 hours or so to wonder through
and see everything. There is a PT Boat, a Dive bomber and a pot load of everything else that you can image from
world war II. Even a Japanese miniature sub from the attack on Pearl Harbor. A ticket is good for a couple of days.

Also, if you get on down towards Medina, there is the Twisted Sisters run that can stir your adrenalin. Be aware that
the curves are sharp and when I was there in September 13 riders had missed a curve and are no longer with us. Oh,
almost forgot, the road from Kerrville to Medina gets pretty wicked also.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks for the info. The wife and I are heading down that way in March.

Good to know....

We have the Midway in San Diego but its a much smaller class. Hope to get out that way again sometime and will stop by for the ryde and tour...

The 2018 Texas Trike Reunion will be held in Kerrville, TX April 19-21. I will send out more info as I receive it. Lots of Texas hill country riding during this reunion. Most will stay at the Motel 6. See ya.

Kerrville is just a few miles from Fredericksburg. Plan your trips in April and join the TTR. The Three Sisters highways are famous rides. Have a refreshment at the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop at Leakey then ride the "Sisters". Hit Fredericksburg, then Hwy 16 to Kerrville and on down to Medina, TX. Pick up Hwy 337 to Vanderpool then on over to Leakey, continue on 337, pick up 335 and 336.....enjoy.

I don't have a lot of choice when to on vacation. I teach at a local college and will be visiting the Boerne area during spring break (week of March 5th).

I toured the Midway the first 2 days it was open in San Diego, amazing. Well worth the time and money.
