Went down to Bruce Fabrication this morning to check on his ability and recommendations regarding an aftermarket muffler for the Spyder. He will probably be able to start next Saturday, if this is what I decide to do. The ride was all SoCal freeway, a distance of probably 40 miles each way. Now that my break-in service has been completed I am moving around on the rpm scale more freely. Once or twice I found myself doing 80 MPH and backed down to a more "pack" like pace, to lessen the likelihood of a ticket. Spyder has plenty of pep and can travel at a sustained freeway pace without trouble, in my opinion. I also have a set of Helen2Wheels bags (seat saddlebags and tank saddlebags) that I am looking forward to trying out on a trip one of these days. Happy ryding!
