• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NHTSA Redux

In case anyone is wondering BRP got an extension until 2/20/15 to provide answers to the ODI questions. The investigator is still gathering info and it will stay open until resolved. Have a Happy New Year.

Yeah, about the time the 2013s are all 5yrs old and past warranty coverage, they will come up with fixes for original owners that no longer have the bikes and they are long out of warranty. Really surprised the NHTSA granted such a long delay just to provide the information before the study and resolutions can be worked out. So much for this ever providing anything useful. I had hoped they were going to push BRP to actually do something but that is turning out not to be the case.

NHTSA really should have stuck with the deadline and the fines to enforce it rather that bow down to BRP and let them continue to delay doing anything.

It never ends . . . now I hear that BRP is insisting that Spyder owners have a mixture of compressed N[SUB]2, [/SUB]O[SUB]2[/SUB] , Ar, CO[SUB]2[/SUB] ,Ne and CH[SUB]4[/SUB] injected into their tires! :roflblack:
