The last "Caswell Riders" hosted event is Oct 22 in Mora. It'll be a morning of ryding followed by a season ending Pot-Luck lunch.
But I like ryding too much to wait until then.
Therefore, I have a couple more rydes in mind.
This past Saturday, Sept. 10, was an ad-hoc, short notice, nearly 500 mile, long way around ryde to Hayward, WI. Fun was had by all.
Next Saturday, Sept. 17, is the bi-annual Flood Run http://www.floodrun.net/ from Lakeland Shores, MN to Winona, MN along both sides of the river where you can share the road with 30,000 two-wheelers. The link explains all the details. It's not for everybody, but I have fun with it.
I'd like to get another Spyder group ryde together the weekend after that, on Sept. 24. I have created a Facebook "Event", simply because I could, on the Minnesota SpyderLovers group page. This, again, will travel north along the St. Croix river. Except it'll only be about a 200 mile round-trip with ice cream in the middle.
Then finally, I'd like to get a "Fall Colors" ryde going down along the Minnesota River. Starting from Chaska then to Mankato and stopping in New Ulm for lunch. Right now, I'm thinking Sat. Oct. 8th. More details about that one later...
Then two weeks later is the Final Mora ryde.
Please mark your calendars accordingly.
