• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

newbie with some questions.......

Sorry for not getting back..been cold out side in oregon...been dealing with frozen pipe.....:yikes:....the kids and wife are starting to smell funny but I'm still just fine...well...internet still works ..so there's an 08 and 09 near me at a stealer ship..... im going to take a look at soon....08 ....$11000... with 9000 miles......and 09 with under 5000 miles for $12000.....both are RS ......08 manual and 09 electric shift......just have to talk the wife aka.....the accountant....into it......we'll see how it goes....thanks again for all the help...:)
Go for the 09....less miles--even if it was not properly maintained the damage done in only 5,000 miles would be less than at 9,000. Also, the electric is a big plus. I rode bikes for lots of years, and as much as I enjoyed working it through the gears, the electric is the way to go. It is easier in a lot of ways, allows me to rest my foot on the highway pegs at stops, and it shifts way faster than I can manually. The only down side is that I have to keep the RPM over 3500, because the clutch starts slipping at 3500. This keeps it from wearing out so fast. Oh...another plus to the electric...when I broke a finger on my left hand, I could still ryde!
