• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbie. What should I add to my spyder 2012 A/C first?

Let's see..!!

out of those two choices I would go with the BajaRon sway bar and hiem joints. Then after seeing the effect that has add the laser alignment. Mostly for cost reasons I would do Elkas last. I actually never did the shocks for once I added the swaybar joints and pitbull relocators the roadster handled great...welcome to both the roadster world and the site for all your needs...

Swaybar makes a noticeable difference right off the bat, great bang for the buck.

Personally don't know what difference the shocks make, but for that type of money hopefully they totally transform the whole ride.

I agree with Bob:bowdown:. Learn how the Spyder feels first, this way as you make upgrades you will be able to feel/identify the difference. Enjoy your ride!!!:yes:

1- Sway Bar
2-Fender Lights, TricLed or Custom Dynamics.
3-Additional Rear Running/Brake light - Buy or make your own like I did.

Ron,
The LAST thing that I'd ever want to do; is cost you a sale...
You know how I feel about your products...
(They'll appreciate your bar a whole lot more if they don't get it too quickly! :D)

I agree with above. I decided to wait to add performance items until I completely experienced & understood my 2012 RS SE5 baseline performance, as I've done with previous rides through the years. Over 1.5 years & 25,000 miles later, my RS is still 100% stock; I continue to experience excellent handling & performance on the street & our local dragaway http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com/ (knock on wood). On the other hand, from the positive discussions on this site, I notice there is a large list of excellent performance add ons.

I must confess 3 items:
1) I adjusted the front & back shocks from 3 to 5 & I found a huge gain in handling.
2) I added a third key in a magnet holder on the oil tank; there is a great thread on here about how to do this.
3) I added Nelson-Rigg tank bag - http://www.nelsonrigg.com/store/product.aspx?pid=1656 (I especially like map holder cuz I still use old school maps to travel)

No! No!

You missed my point! It was the 'Agree' part that I was referencing... Not the Content of your statement!

Life is a LOT more than making a sale. You continue to say whatever you want. (I do recommend staying on the good side of Lamont however!)

Which is something I fail to do from time to time. But then, you never know where the fence line is until you bump into it!
