• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The issue I have is that I have big feet and a knee that is not at all happy trying to get the foot moved rearwards in order to get at the pedal. Don't think just making the pedal longer is going to do it for me. I'll play around with it a bit. I'm sure I can over engineer it. What ever I do will be bolt on so that I can return it to stock if it goes FUBAR.

Welcome. I may see you around the Meadows of Dan as I camp and ride out of there from Willville Bike campground. see ya, Bill:cheers:

Well your about 80 miles from my place. Deb and I ride over to Meadows Of Dan every once in a while on the Park Way for lunch. This is a pic of us on the Harley that we just got rid of.

Now that I see what you're trying to accomplish; you're moving the point where the force is applied, quite a way outboard, from the pivot point of the pedal.
You might need to be prepared to brace things up quite a bit!

Good Luck; please let us know how this all progresses!

I agree that I'm moving the force quit a bit. I'm making this all bolt on so it if doesn't work I can simply return it to stock. Still some more playing with the design before I get to cutting and welding.

Proto type for the brake pedal is done and installed. Looks like we have a winner. I can now keep my heel on the floor board and only need to raise my toe to get to it. Forgot to take my camera with me to my shop so pics later. Best part was I made it out of left over steel I had in the shop.
