• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Newbie.......hello everyone!

New this year also

Welcome to the club! I have ridden motorcycles for quite a few years prior to my first spyder this year. I highly recommend a couple of reads through the owners manual and the practice tips in the back are a great way to get the feel of things prior to going all out. Good luck, and ride safe, always assume your the only one that sees you!

Thanks Brent! I have read my manual from front to back......twice now!!! Now I just pick a topic and re-read it! Not to mention all the great advice and tips I get from the blogs! I plan to take it easy and not rush myself! So far I haven't stopped smiling!!! Just hate that it's fall already!!!! Hurry up summer of 2016!!!!!

Welcome!

I'm new here myself ,I have a Red 2015 RTS. I have had many 2 wheel bikes, but this is my first 3 wheel. Be very careful you have to be 5 times more obserant than everyone else.

Welcome & Congrats

:welcome::congrats: You will enjoy it even more as you get more miles on your new Spyder. I'm on my second Spyder which is a 2014 RT and have about 25,500 miles on it - very good bike and rides great! It makes me smile every time I ride it! :D:D:D

Enjoy! :yes::yes::yes:

Congratulations on your new Spyder

Sharp ride.
This is my first attempt at posting on the site.
I'm on the waiting list for my M3 trike class. Next available is summer 2016. I've really been leaning towards the RT limited. This will be my first bike of any kind. Will be around August/September.
My wife has been going through chemo treatments for ovarian cancer/ she is now in remission/starting to get her hair back. And acquiring the Spyder is something that we both are really excited about.
Congrats again on your beautiful new ride. Be safe and have a blast.

Congratulations:

Not sure if this is where I post that I'm a "newbie". Just had my 2015 CanAm Spyder RT Limited delivered last Wednesday!! So far I LOVE THIS BIKE!
Having NEVER ridden a motorcycle let alone a reverse trike I think I'm doing well. Took a motorcycle safety course, got my license, and my bike all inside of one week!!
I've been researching these machines for some time now and the time was right so I made my purchase! I'm really glad I joined this forum and I LOVE SPYDERLOVERS!!!!
Love reading all the comments. I've learned soooo much already just by reading the posts....thanks guys/gals!

Many happy days of riding.
