• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is anyone experiencing a fuel odor after riding? I noticed it before my first refueling (it took 5 gal) and even after the tank was full. Possible causes? :dontknow: Is there a low fuel warning light for the RTS? Dale

evaporation canisters are the most likely culprit. As Scott had posted earlier when refueling insert the pump nozzle just past the flapper and fill gently, stop after it trips first time. Others with more knowledge of this problem will add to this
later. Ride safe:yes::ohyea::clap:

Yes, there is a fuel warning light on the RTS. If you did not have a light, and put in 5 gallons, you likely overflowed to the evap canister. You will not get rid of the gas smell for a log while to come. It evaporates very slowly from the canister.

When filling, fill as slowly as possibly...at least after the first couple of gallons. Insert the tip of the nozzle just into the opening in the "No-lead" ring and stop when gas just begins to spit out the vent slashes. The fuel level should end up approximately 1/2" below the low part of the neck. That is full, when you account for the necessary head space.
