• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

new york city over the years

Thanks Man for that footage

I didn't get to visit the City till around 72.. traveling in a rock and roll band,, girlfriend lived in the brownstones around Central Park.. she worked in the Garment District.. I love New York.. I remember wandering in a desolate area.. and yes NYC has them as you know.. around Greenwich Village.. and I saw this hand scribbled sign that said "here it is" and there was a hole in the ground about the size I could squeeze through.. this song came to mind..when I saw it..

rememember backing up against a wall at 3 am and listening to some of the most soulful blues music coming from an upstairs apt.. where the building was empty, sort of.. the sighn said GUARD DOG ON DUTY.. I alwayways wondered what I would have seen if i had rapped on the window..

And the then there was the time I crawled through an open window in the same apt complex where angie bowie was staying at that time and the security guard saw the open window and confronted me on the roof.. said what are u doing here.. and In my Southern Drawl I said ..just lOoKing..at the lights of the CiTy,, as I tooK a BreAth of fresh Air in My Lungs.. If you catch my drift.. we had a good conversation

once again thanks MAN.. I need to come back to the City as I have so many times and wander the streets..again.. back up into a door stoop when the rain is coming down hard.. and embrace the NOW
