New Windshield fm Ins Claim - is this a vented screen fitted by mistake?

I picked my spyder up last week after hitting a deer last October. There is still one part left to come in but will not arrive till mid July now. Insurance company said put it together and ride it. We’ve had snow everyday or major rain everyday for last month so doesn’t matter. I noticed something today I didn’t catch when I picked it up. The windshield needed replaced but it’s different. Here is the picture of the windshield. Notice the vents are really high. My old one had the vents where my figures are placed. Is this a BRP vented windshield they put on accidentally? Only thing I see a problem is when all the way up if it rains I bet instead of the droplets running to the top and flying off the droplets will hit that vent, then dash and then my face. What windshield is this. It’s also got a tinted bottom too. The replaced everything. 2017 RT LIMITED

I think I figured it out. Still calling the dealer tomorrow. Can someone with a 2020+ RT look at the picture above. Does your windshield look like the picture? I just looked on cheapcycle for the Oem 2017 windshield and when I click on it for the manufacturing number it says no longer available discontinued. I wonder if the 2020 windshield now super succeeds it? I don’t like the idea of water coming straight at my face. Can someone with a pre 2019 measure from the top of windshield to bottom flat point on windshield. My new one measures 24 inches. I was thinking my old one was a bit taller.

I have the same Spyder as yours. I measured mine like you asked, it is 25 in tall. That windshield on your Spyder is not what came on it. See the attached pictures of my stock windshield

That looks like the shield on my 2020 RT Limited.

The windshield replaced is a 2020 series for the the RT. It was confirmed this morning and also confirmed that 2014-2019 RT windshields have been discontinued. I have a new post in the general section regarding this part number.
