• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Wheels

I never thought i would be able to ride a 2 wheeler again and after visiting the local bike shop i sat on a bike that i thought was really cool looking A 2011 star stryker it's a nice cruiser and the dealer gave me a real good deal because i helped him when he had an open house because he just became a spyder dealer and was not sure if he would have any spyders to show so i put the call out and had 12-15 spyder riders show up and they helped answer question. Anyway when i would think about a 2 wheeler i never gave Yamaha a thought because i always thought that they build a better dirt bike than a street bike.
Well i have about 180 miles on it now and for 1307cc vtwin their is not much vibration at all. Now most of you who know me probably think i added a lot to the bike like i did my spyder, well not yet Their is a forum for this bike and after checking it out i changed the stock seat it was just a little to hard but the shape of it was on the money so i ordered a mustang seat and what a very nice improvement. The foot pegs were uncomfortable for the bottom of my feet so i discovered the the floorboards for a yamaha 1100 v star would fit and they do so that was a nice improvement. being the bike is new their are not a lot of farkles for it but i do have luggage coming for it and a set of arlen ness black tear drop mirrors coming for it i am also in the process of looking for a windshield the ones from the manufacture are either to big or to small after being properly sized buy the dealer. But don't worry the spyder is not being neglected she just did a 160 mile benefit ride for the troops over seas and i just found out it was $19,000 with 400 plus bikes and 533 riders. if anyone is interested in doing this ride just check out troopride.com.
