New wheels 17x8 205/40/17 rear 225/***60***15

New wheels and tires. Fronts 205/40/17 on 17×7. Rear is 225/////60/////15. Now the speedo is totally accurate per GPS and the bike is so much more stable and supple. Super happy! Not sure how much lower it is revving at highway speeds but it is noticeable. Front width is now 62.5 inches with the adapters and wheels/tires. Also no nanny issues or clearance issues!!!

i have only 1 complaint, 205 on an 8" is a stretch. I install them on customers vw's all the time but i am not a fan of stretch
tires especially on a bike, i understand the safety issues involved.

I just looked at my reciept, as you had me second guessing myself, here is what they really are... Finish: Black; Size: 17x7; Bolt Pattern: 5X114.3 :thumbup:

None yet! Rode yesterday with me (170lbs) and a friend (230lbs) and ran over some pretty big sloping speed bumps at~30mph just to try and see if it would bottom out. So far so good, I will have to check the rpm's vs GPS today and see where it is at.
