• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took the Kayak to Saddle Creek today for the first time using the Spyder. Two pictures. The old way and the new way.

Gotta say, the new way looks way better!

And a LOT more fun. Cages are great when it gets really cold (below 20*F), it's icy/snowy/rainy or you need to haul something that just won't fit on a bike (I had to carry a few 20' pieces of PVC across town the other day. Even if I had a trailer, I just couldn't see that happening w/the RT.)

HAGO!

This is a nice looking setup but I got a few of questions about it.

1. What is the model of the trailer or is it DIY.

2. What is the weight being applied to the hitch?

3. Is that a mount for a trolling motor?

Thanks in advance for the info.

:congrats::2thumbs:enjoy. Would like one like this:IMG_0072.JPG& lil fun found here some time agoIMG_1177.JPG

The trailer is a Jet Ski trailer.
21 pounds of tongue weight.
Yes, that is a mount for a trolling motor.
The trailer is also setup to carry my Dual Sport as well. It is a DRZ 400. IMG_4145.jpg

Gotta admit that is extremely clever. Wouldn't mind doing the same thing except that our Spyders are here in Texas and our kayaks are in Maine!

Has anybody ever trailered their bicycles with a Spyder? We have two eBikes that weigh about 60lbs each that we want to pull to the trailhead.

The new way not only looks better, but a whole lot more fun as well. An unbeatable combination.
