• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. New waterproof iphone and ipad cases

I love the, "Ability to swim and take underwater (2 meters/6.6ft depth). Optional adapter allows use of waterproof headphones underwater" capability. :roflblack: I wonder WHO thought of that feature and just how long they could hold their breath and listen to music underwater? :roflblack: But the bigger question is, who would buy the underwater adapter??? :dontknow:

Thanks Lamont
I'll definitely check these out. I have used the otterbox defender since getting an iPhone. I love the case but the silicone outer shell is so tacky/sticky when pulling it out of your pocket it invariably pulls the pocket lining inside out. I use the belt clip to hold my iPhone onto my handlebar techmount, so I always carry my phone in my pocket.

So the first thing I looked for on the link you posted was to see how it works for carrying in the pocket and it appears to alleviate the sticky problem. Cool! I'll be trying one.

Anyone who would like to listen to their music while riding in the rain might find these useful.

True Mark, but there does not ever seem to be a "water depth" issue when riding in the rain......unless one make a very serious wrong turn! :roflblack: But you do make a valid point. ;)

I was going to order one of these tonight, but they don't have a belt clip yet. :gaah:

I carry my phone in my pocket, and this hard side waterproof case will be easier to carry than my Otterbox Defender which has a sticky silicone outer shell. But I need the belt clip, so I can attach to my Ram mount since I use my iphone for tunes and GPS.

They have an email system that will alert me when they have the product ready. Looks like their production department got overwhelmed.

Guess I'll stick with the Otterbox for a while. :(

Seideo makes one for the iphone with a belt clip. Not waterproof though. I have one for my EVO and like it a lot. http://www.amazon.com/Seidio-SURFAC...U0E2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316440522&sr=8-1

I have SteveMac's issue, but at $69 it's a little steep (I paid $8.99 thru Amazon for my Otterbox)!! And I really don't go swimming with the phone, so I think I'll stick with my Otterbox for now... even if it is bulky as a brick!:gaah:

Mine arrived and I installed.

So far I give the case looks and ease of getting in and out of my pocket an "A". It is a much nicer looking case than the otterbox defender.

Price a "C". More expensive than the defender.

Usability "C". Buttons work very well but the sensitivity of the screen is poor.

I am getting around the mounting issue by using one of the clamp type holders.

Overall I give it a "B" right now. If I get used to the less sensitive screen it could get an A. Being able to get a waterproof case that goes in and out of my pocket easily outweighs the less sensitive screen.
