• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New Vendor- GloRyder

Yes, we saw this on Lamonts six spoke wheel when we first installed them. The stock 3 spoke wheels allow the light to directly shine onto the wheel. Basically if the light is sitting in a bowl there is not alot you can do as the six spoke seems to be.

However...The GloRyder is manufactured to allow the user to position the leds to shine outward on the wheel. I would suggest you try this. Take off the cap at night and slightly angle the Led's up and see if they catch the wheel better.

Did this work? I really like the look on the stock wheel but won't change back just for the lights. Hope a solution can be found to spread the light more on the 6-spoke! What about a spacer of some type to push the light out a bit????

SSR..... What color GloRyders do you have on your Spyder? Are they white?

Hey COOLM,

I know is doesn't look like it on the pics, but they are yellow.
They have a really nice look in person, now i'm just waiting for something for the rear

Help yourself! Do you want more?

Sure thing. A couple close-ups and some side shots would ge good.

We are starting to get alot of calls about these. Looks like you guys are doing your job!!! :2thumbs:

Lance

I will try to get some shots after I get home from work tonight. :doorag:

When we take pictures of landscape lighting jobs, the best time to take them is right before it gets dark. I wonder if this would work for pictures of these. It would be nice to see the sillouette of the spyder too.

WOOHOO, my green ones shipped today. Something to do when I get back to the flatlands....And I have quite a few green led's going on when I get back. Should look good at night

GloRyders

If you park the Spyder on a hard surface that you can water down before the picture, you will also get a nice reflection adding to appearance:2thumbs:
