• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Comfort seat

When I picked up my Spyder it had the comfort seat on it. They were going to put the stock seat back on. I tried both seats and decided on the comfort seat!! That extra 2 inch setback makes a big difference!! Enjoy

Do you have any issues with the seat being taller and putting your helmet up into the buffeting zone? My head/helmet is now in the airflow zone and I have to duck behind the windscreen when traveling over 60 mph to avoid noise and buffeting. Just curious on your thoughts or if you've experienced it?

Dang, that is one beautiful seat.

I have been wondering about these set back seats with an extra 1.5 to 2 inches of legroom. Does the passenger find that they are cramped and pinched from losing the same space?

Nice! I have the same seat - just with cognac inserts rather that white to go with my "Bronze Beauty". Love the seat and Ultimate's service can't be beat either! Well worth the investment.:clap::thumbup::thumbup:

As far as wind I have the show chrome tall w.s so have no issues there.... Pass sits I. A diff position diff backrest so no issues

above the ws

Has anyone noticed that when you first sit on the seat you're looking over the top ( stock ) and after a few miles you're looking through the ws ? I love my seat and with floorboards that allow me to stretch against the backrest there' is NO more sore or tired butt and this is after a 500 mile day. Ultimate is the way to go for sure , especially with no break in required .

The Ultimate Seats passenger backrest is about 3/4" thinner than the OEM passenger backrest. Your passenger loses maybe an inch.

Copperman, Re the passenger backrest being about 3/4" thinner. Have you noticed any reduction in comfort for your passenger?

I ride solo on an F3L. When I had an RTL, with an Ultimate Seat, I still rode solo. Those numbers were from Ultimates website.
