There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In my opinion, SENA needs to make their basic technology better before expanding to newer formats with the same issues.
For instance, I just got the 10S.
It still takes about 1.5 to 2 seconds for the intercom to connect. I hit the jog button, wait, wait, wait and then maybe the intercom connects.
It makes conversation difficult if I'm trying to point out road hazard or a specific view from the bike. By the time the intercom connects, it can be too late.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

If they are going to advertise being able to connect different types of devices (e.g. their BT dongle, phone as well as intercom) they need to make that solid first. I am not the only one that has spent a lot of money for a 20S and been VERY disappointed in how it operates. Make what you have SOLID first, then expand.
